015 Hot Chocolate

It’s cold outside and you’re craving something warm and comforting.

Enter healthy HoCho!

Easy, delicious & healthier than your standard hot chocolate.

It has good fats (coconut oil) to slow your body’s absorption of the sweetener (maple syrup). This will keep you satisfied for longer instead of causing a blood sugar surge that’ll leave you crashing.

For one serve you’ll need:

1.5 cups Almond or Rice Milk
1 teaspoon Cacao Powder
1 teaspoon Maple Syrup – 100% pure / organic (not maple flavoured syrup)
Sprinkle of Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Coconut Oil

Blend all ingredients except the coconut oil to create a fluffy consistency. Then warm on the stove adding the coconut oil over a gentle heat.
